Training of the Trainers (ToT) Program at Brac Center, Dhaka

Training of the Trainers (TOT) was held in June 2014 with 18 professionals on Inclusive Education with a focus on children with disabilities.

Training Highlights

15th to 19th June, 2014 – TOT training on Inclusive Education focus on children with disabilities. Training was conducted for a group of professionals. Content of TOT focused on basic information on disability, special education, characteristics of special need children and strategies to work with various special need children in classroom.

23rd and 24th June, 2014 - Nobodhara School visits Uttara and Bonosree locations. Meeting was held with parents to promote awareness about Inclusive Education and acceptance of disabled children. Meeting was held with teachers and staff regarding Inclusive Education. I provided some basic strategies regarding classroom management and effective parent communication.

25th to 26th June, 2014 – Finalize Masters Course Inclusive Education focus on Early childhood with core team members Dr. Nishat Fatima (Assistant Professor) Syeda Sazia Zaman (Senior Research Fellow). Meetings regarding my visit and future development with Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ainun Nishat and Director Dr. Erum Mariam.
